This years D23 Expo brought huge announcements for Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney’s Animation and Live Action Studios and huge Franchise like Marvel and of course Star Wars. However, Disneyland Paris was almost left in the cold.
At the Disney Parks and Resorts Presentation, new additions to Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as the yet to be completed Shanghai Disneyland were showcased with exclusive looks at what Walt Disney Imagineering has been working on, however Disneyland Paris was mentioned in a passing segment, regarding it’s 25th Anniversary.
Now, Disneyland Paris will celebrate it’s 25th Anniversary in 2017 and D23 Expo will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Centre for another does of Disney Media Madness, monopolising the entire media fray, but that will take place after the beginning of Disneyland Paris’s Celebrations.
Although, Disneyland Paris fans shouldn’t feel downhearted about the Disney Parks and Resorts Announcements as fans of DLP received their major news earlier this year with the release of the Enhancement Plan that will bring huge changes and refurbishments to the entirety of Disneyland Paris. So I guess Disneyland Paris fans have something to be happy about after all, and anyway Disney might be saving more Disneyland Paris Anniversary related announcements for specialised press events much like they did with Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary this year.
