A brief and concise round up of rumours surfacing during the month.
A new attraction for Walt Disney Studios Park?
ED92 has shared pictures of ground surveys occurring in a backstage area of WDSP, however this area is removed from the park itself, being even behind the office/backstage area which borders the park behind Studio Tram Tour. Suggestions have been made that perhaps the backstage buildings currently just behind the tram tour route could be relocated here to make way for future expansion.
Lucky Nugget Saloon show
@DisneylandBerry suggest the rumoured upcoming Toy Story puppet show will be called ‘Woody and the Disappeared Nugget’. It would be shown on the stage in Frontierland’s Lucky Nugget Saloon. The show is rumoured to start in May 2016.
Christmas show for Walt Disney Studios park?
ED92 rumours a ‘seasonal and sporadic projection show’ for the park. The show would possibly début this Christmas season. Tower of Terror could be a possible canvas for projections; as shown when it was projected on during the rides’ opening ceremony in 2008.
Discoveryland Theatre
It has been widely rumoured that the Disney & Pixar short film festival seen in Walt Disney World’s Epcot will be shown in Discoveryland Theatre, replacing the ‘sneak previews’. The film festival would be an 18 minute show consisting of three Disney and Pixar short films.
Star Tours
The X-Wing and its stand have been removed, so it’s highly possible that it will be in a new location in 2017. Rumours suggest on top of Star Traders…
