Whether you’re a seasoned visitor to Disneyland Paris, or totally new to the magic, you’ll find the Disneyland App to be very helpful! – And it’s free!
The main feature of the app is its brilliant interactive maps. The maps show the resort itself, including hotels, Disney Village and both parks.
For a new visitor to Disneyland Paris, the resort map will be particularly helpful for giving you a guide to the range of official Disney hotels within the resort – such as what services are available there and where they are located in relation to the all important themeparks!
The truly stand-out feature, though, is the interactive park maps. Both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios are available to explore: by clicking on attractions you’ll have access to wait times and show times (particularly helpful if you’re in the parks) as well as fun facts about the attractions themselves. Of course, you will need an internet connection for this – and if you’re in the park then GPS can pinpoint your location on the map.
Disneyland Paris’ app isn’t only helpful once you’re in the magic. If you’re looking to book a holiday you can access opening schedules for a few months ahead to make sure that you’re favourite attraction is open for business on the dates when you’d like to visit.

Also, with the agenda feature you can create a route of attractions, shows and restaurants for you to follow once you’ve arrived at Disneyland Paris. The app is available FREE on both iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play.
My personal experience was with the Android app, where it ran smoothly, though I did find the images to appear low resolution on my mere 7″ screen.
The app should be particularly usable in Disneyland Paris itself now, given the new availability of free WiFi in selected areas in Disney Village and Disney Hotels. However seeing that an internet connection is required, us British tourists may find that actually using it in the park would be very costly via mobile roaming charges! Until Disneyland Paris expand free WiFi into the parks, that is…
This is a very helpful app both for planning a trip to Disneyland Paris and for maximising your time in the parks.
This is a ‘must-get’ – and did I mention it’s free? Download the app on iTunes
