Ratatouille: The Adventure will be opening every day for ‘soft-openings’ for the public, @InsideDLP – a reliable source of DLP news – announced on Twitter today.
Soft openings are a time when the attraction is opened to the public prior to the official opening date to help sort out any operational issues before the grand opening. Anyone can ride the attraction during a soft-opening, simply by joining the queue as normal. Hence if you’re in Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park over the next few days – then you’re in luck!
@InsideDLP (who is not officially affiliated with Disneyland Paris) did note however that Disney retains the right to cease stop soft-openings or to alter soft-opening times without warning.
La Place de Rémy’s restaurant, Bistrot Chez Rémy will also be open to the public during this time.
Guests can enter La Place de Rémy via the tunnel from the back of Toy Story Playland. Though there will be another, larger, entrance to La Place de Rémy nearer the entrance to Toy Story Playland when the attraction officially opens on 10 July.
Ratatouille: The Adventure is one of the most highly anticipated expansions to the Walt Disney Studios Park since it opened 2002. The attraction features a trackless-design similar to that of Tokyo Disneyland’s Pooh’s Honey Hunt and Hong Kong Disneyland’s Mystic Manor. Guests are ‘shrunk down to the size of rats’ to experience a thrilling journey to Rémy’s restaurant! It is unique to Paris and there are currently no plans to build it in any other Disneyland parks. It was recently opened for the Press and fan community, receiving high acclaim.
