In 2015 the spring season will make a triumphant return to Disneyland Paris after its début last year. This year the spring festival will be an upgraded version of last year’s flowery festivities, running for three months from 1st March to 31st May.
This year Swing Into Spring will feature even more flowery displays stretching from Town Square towards Central Plaza. Both important areas will receive fully flowery make-overs, complete with topiaries of the 101 Dalmatians, Simba and Nala (from The Lion King), the Aristocats, as well as Bambi and his friends. All the spring flower scenery – of which there will be more of than last year – will also be complemented by original music to get everyone into the vibrant spring mood! To add to all of this, even Cast Member costumes have been redesigned to give a more colourful spring feeling around the park.
Spring will be brought to life fully with a number of special Swing Into Spring events. The first of these, Welcome to Spring, will bring action to Town Square with a choreographed show featuring the residents of Main Street, U.S.A. and crowd favourite Disney characters. As well as this, Goofy’s Garden Party will see Goofy host a swinging celebration of nature with lively music as he is accompanied by his assistant gardeners and friends including Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Chip and Dale, but also Alice, Pinocchio and Clarabelle Cow.
Minnie’s Little Spring Train will bring characters out to parade in front of Sleepy Beauty’s Castle. On board will be Minnie Mouse & friends, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Thumper & Miss Bunny. In fact it will be the first time that Miss Bunny from Bambi will be making an appearance in Disneyland Paris. Swing Into Spring will see new spring-themed Meet & Greets for both Thumper and Miss Bunny (his girlfriend) as well as Rapunzel from Tangled.
